I really wish I could think of a catchier title for this blog, but it’s impossible to come up with anything that is short, to the point, and truly encompasses what this blog is all about — giving me a place to sound off about all of my varied interests and parts of my life.  I’m a newlywed — married for one year as of July 28 — have two dogs, no kids, and work for a seasonal store in Southern Indiana.  This blog was inspired by a work-sponsored trip to the BlogINDIANA conference in Indianapolis.

I’ve dabbled off and on in having a personal blog for several years, but have never really managed to keep up with one.  I’m hoping this time will be different — and that’s a big reason why I chose not to limit myself to a single topic.  Instead, I’m placing everything under the umbrella of “personal blog.”  Everything here will have something to do with my life or interests.  I hope it will be as interesting to you as it is to me.

As a side note, you should know that I love to shop and find bargains, and will probably be sharing those bargains on here, but I do not work for nor am I affiliated with any of those stores, other than being an overly enthusiastic customer.  I’m just a newlywed on a tight budget working to pay off that college credit card debt and trying to save for a house.

Anyhow — enjoy!  I welcome any and all comments and suggestions, so don’t be afraid to speak up.
